There are many reasons to use composite materials in the advanced engineering sector, including weight reduction and improved performance of manufactured items for automotive and aerospace applications. The future of this industry will rely on the transition from petrochemical raw materials to those based on biocarbon and on the use of recycled products.

Biocarbon

Our Envirocast™ boards contain significant amounts of sustainable biocarbon-based raw materials, including those derived from vegetable oils and from carbohydrate chemistry.

Recycled Plastic

Enormous amounts of plastic materials end up as land-fill waste. We use chemicals derived from plastic waste as an integral part of our Envirocast™ range of tooling boards.

Recycled Swarf

The tooling board trimming process gives rise to swarf. We can utilise the swarf to produce Envirocast™ boards.
